Govanhill Housing Association is fully committed to the prevention and resolution of homeless. Every year we agree a quota with Glasgow City Council to house a percentage of statutory homeless households (referred to as a section 5 homeless referral).
Our staff can provide housing advice and information to people who are homeless or potentially homeless.
We do not have emergency or temporary accommodation for people who are homeless.
Glasgow City Council have the responsibility for providing temporary and permanent accommodation to people who are classified as homeless.
If you require homelessness advice and assistance, during office hours, then you should contact Health and Social Care Connect on 0141 287 0555.
You can also request homeless assistance online for yourself here, and for someone else here.
If you require assistance after 4.45pm Monday to Thursday or 3.55pm on a Friday or weekends and public holidays, then please contact the Emergency Out of Hours Homelessness Service on 0800 838 502.
