Making an Environmental Information Request (EIR)

You have the right to request environmental information. Requests can be made under the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (EIRs) and they work in a similar way to Freedom of Information requests.

You can make an EIR request or request assistance to make a request by filling out the form below, or by contacting our Information Officer Saqib Malik , on 0141 636 3636 / eirrequest@govanhillha.org

When you request environmental information from us, we will provide it to you within 20 working days or, if the information requested is complex and voluminous, 40 working days.Charges may apply if you request a lot of information or if the information would take us a long time to produce. Please see our charging information for more detail.Occasionally there will be reasons why we cannot provide the information you have requested. If that is the case we will tell you why.

You can challenge our decision and ask us to review our response. If you are unhappy after the review, you can appeal directly to the Scottish Information Commissioner.
